55th Reunion Information

We are putting the final touches on the plans for our Clearwater High School Class of 1968 55^th Reunion. I know! We're having a hard time believing it's been that long, too.

We've reserved the Safety Harbor Spa for the weekend of September 29 through October 1. It promises to be a great time and we hope you can join us.

The price is $160 per person for both nights. Individual nights are priced at $75 for Friday night and $100 for Saturday night. Please help us out by sending your fees as soon as possible, as we have scheduled payments that we must pay the hotel and we need to have that money available.

You're probably asking, "What am I getting for my money that I worked so hard for?" Well...

Friday night will be a Cocktail Party with a cash bar and hors d'oeuvres. Come on out to the beautiful grounds of the Spa and get reacquainted with old friends from the past or catch up with a friend you just saw last week, all while listening to the sounds of the 60s! Festivities begin at 6:00 pm.

Saturday night festivities include a cocktail hour (cash bar) starting at 6:30 pm followed by a delicious buffet dinner! The infamous "Marvelous Marvin" will once again DJ a dance party after dinner so get ready to "SHOUT" and "Shake a Tail Feather."

Other activities include:

Saturday Morning Stroll - Join Jim Drain and Judy Carignan Buck for a leisurely walk to Philippe Park. Grab a coffee, wear your comfortable shoes and meet by the pool at 8 am. Walk along beautiful Tampa will last approximately 1 hour.
Jolley Trolley Ride - Meet in front of the Spa at 10 am to board the Jolley Trolley for a fun-filled adventure. Suzann Birchall will be your "Hostess with the Mostess" as you ride the wonderful Jolley Trolley from the Spa to Clearwater High School for a private tour of the newly remodeled facility. The trolly will then proceed to the Palm Pavilion where everyone is on their own for lunch. After lunch, we'll leave the beach and make a quick stop at "The Sound at Coachman Park" to check out Clearwater's newest performance venue. Relax as we take the scenic route along St. Joseph's Sound to downtown Dunedin and then it's back to the Spa. Cost is $25 per person and we are limited to the first 31 people to sign up.
Decorating - Decorating for the Saturday night function will take place Saturday afternoon at the hotel. It's a great time to catch up with friends while helping get ready for the Saturday night shindig.
Sunday Worship Service - Please join your classmates as they share in spirit and song. Time will be announced closer to the event.

When you're paying for the weekend, if it is in your budget to enclose a little extra to help defray our costs, it would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too large or too small.
